MeltonFabric.com helps apparel buyers move from an initial fabric idea to a clear sample discussion. The focus is practical: the surface you want, the shape of the garment, the details to test and the information needed for the next decision.
The Fred Textile team is the contact for article selection, sample discussions, fabric development, quotations and orders. Your international business contact is Mr Kcal.
Keep the garment at the centre of the brief
A fabric reference becomes more useful when the intended garment is clear. A structured front may need a different trial from a relaxed wrap shape. A clean surface may still need to be checked around a folded hem or a multi-layer closure.
Start with what you are making and the result you want. Identify the areas that matter most, then choose the sample format that allows those areas to be reviewed.
Manufacturing information at Fred Textile

A clear path from reference to next action
| Step | What you bring | What to establish next |
|---|---|---|
| Describe the project | Garment, desired shape, reference and important constraints | Relevant fabric directions and open questions |
| Review references | Physical samples and their available specifications | Which samples deserve a larger trial |
| Make the details | Identified fabric, supporting materials and trial plan | Observations about the actual garment combination |
| Confirm the basis | Current specification, sample identity and required quantities | Sample or order terms confirmed with Fred |
The tools on this site help you prepare these records. They keep buyer targets, available reference information and questions for Fred visible as separate parts of the brief.

You can contact Mr Kcal directly or prepare a sample enquiry first. If you already have a physical reference, tell us which qualities you want to retain and which you would like to change. If you have only an image, use it to describe the direction and ask what physical samples would be useful.

Make each confirmation specific
Final composition, finished weight, usable width, sample availability and commercial terms are confirmed for the actual article and project. Keep that confirmation with the reference and revision used in your development work.
What a useful development conversation should establish
Bring the garment purpose, an identifiable reference and the question that remains open. Ask which information describes the current article, which observations belong to your own trial and which details still need evidence. A collection name or a previous project does not establish a new sample's specification. Keep the same reference identity through the enquiry and any later quote so the conversation stays tied to the material you actually reviewed.
Who should resolve a material question?
Send a missing article specification or sample-format question to the fabric contact, together with the actual reference identity. Ask the pattern maker to explain a garment-detail result with the pattern and component list attached. A general company introduction cannot replace either answer. When more than one person contributes, keep their statements separate: supplier-reported information, the maker's trial settings and the buyer's observations should remain attributable to their source.
For a handover, preserve the reply and the question it answered rather than copying a favourable phrase into an approval field. If a message describes a collection generally, ask whether it applies to your current cutting. Contact Mr Kcal through the established details on this site.
