Start with the garment you want to make and the question your next sample should answer. Contact Mr Kcal even if you have no article code or target GSM.
Contact Mr Kcal
Email mrkcal@fredtextile.com or open the verified US WhatsApp conversation. These links open your own application; review the message and send it from your account. A prepared brief is not an enquiry received by Fred.
If you have a physical reference
Keep its label, sample identity and known specification together. Explain what you want to preserve and what you want to change. Send photographs of the face, fold and label in your message, and discuss whether Fred needs the actual sample.
If you have only a photograph
Describe the garment, silhouette, surface and the detail that matters most. Treat a screen colour as a starting reference. Ask about a physical colour standard and a sample format before approving a material.
If you already have a specification
Include the composition requirement, weight and unit, total and usable width separately, care requirement, quantity per colour and target milestones. Mark each item as fixed or open for advice. Include the version of any applicable test document.
A useful first message
For example: We are developing a belted coat. We have a garment photograph but no target weight. Please recommend a Melton direction and advise a larger cutting for the belt fold and hem. This is an enquiry example, not a claim about a supplied article.
Attachments and next steps
Add photographs and documents in your own email or WhatsApp application. This site has no upload service. Ask Fred to identify a current article and confirm specifications, sample conditions and the next discussion. The backup business email is mrkcal@mrkcal.com.
When a reply needs more information
If the question is about a failed detail, attach the sample identity, relevant photograph and construction revision in your own message. State what changed and what you expected to see. If you have no physical sample, say so; request advice on the next sample instead of presenting a photograph as a measured result. Opening email or WhatsApp does not send these attachments automatically.
Turn an unclear reply into one specific follow-up
Quote the unanswered field and identify the sample again. For example, a reply saying similar handle does not establish the requested fibre composition or identify a replacement cutting. Ask whether the reply refers to your labelled sample and which information remains to be confirmed. Keep the original wording in the correspondence so that an interpretation does not gradually become a supposed specification.
If several questions are open, state which one blocks the next trial. A cutting-size discussion can continue while a separate care question is pending, but do not describe the whole reference as approved. Include the preferred reply channel and the decision you need to make; attach your own labelled photographs or worksheet in that channel.
